Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of The Print Guy (theprintguy.app). By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

The Print Guy is an online knowledge base for diagnosing and fixing offset printing and finishing problems. The service is operated by Emilio Arauz (“The Print Guy”, “we”). Contact: hola@theprintguy.app.

2. The service

Anyone can view symptoms, probable causes and search for free.

Step-by-step solutions require an account. The Free plan includes 1 full solution per day (the day resets at midnight Ecuador time, UTC-5). Paid plans give unlimited access to solutions according to the plan. Plan details are on Pricing.

3. Your account

You sign in with a link we email you. You are responsible for securing access to your email and for activity on your account. Accounts are personal unless your plan includes additional users.

4. Plans, prices and payments

Prices are shown on Pricing: in US dollars (US$) in Spanish and English, and in euros (€) in the other languages.

Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Taxes may apply depending on your country.

If we change the price of your plan, we will email you before your next renewal.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from “Manage subscription” in your account menu or by emailing hola@theprintguy.app. You keep access until the end of the paid period and you are not charged again.

We refund 100% of your first payment if you ask within 7 days. After that there are no partial refunds. Details in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may not copy, resell, redistribute or bulk-extract (scrape) the solutions, share your account beyond what your plan allows, or try to bypass the service limits. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Technical content and liability

The content is general technical guidance based on industry sources and hands-on experience. It does not replace your machine manufacturer's instructions or your plant's safety rules: always follow safety procedures (lockout, protective equipment).

To the extent permitted by law, The Print Guy is not liable for indirect damages or lost production or materials, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Intellectual property

The content, brand and software of The Print Guy belong to us. Your account gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them in your work.

9. Changes and account closure

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or on the site before it applies. You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time by emailing hola@theprintguy.app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida (USA), without prejudice to any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
